9/11 Remembered and Honored.

Whom here among the multitude of people of this country and around the world remember that fateful day in September of 2001? I was driving into work that morning concerned about a stalled car on the freeway. I turned on the radio to the local all news station to hear if the car had already been reported. The first thing I hear is the national alert tone and the emergency broadcast mandating all New York City police and fire personal report for duty. I modern re-enactment of “War Of The Worlds” I pondered. As I listened to the events unfold, I begun to realize this was no radio drama, Two jets had in fact crashed into the Worlds Trade Buildings. My heart sank and I prayed for a minimal loss of life.

In the following; days, weeks, months, I witnessed a whole country rally under its national flag, stand as one united with a common bond and the faith of its people renewed. The name of the Father in Heaven was raised to the sky and The American flew high and proud. Today I’m saddened to learn that there will be no public prayer at “Ground Zero” for the Ten year memorial of that terrible day just a few short years ago. Have we lost all to political correctness?

Even I walk a fine line not to offend too many people, but there is the truth, ask and I will explain as best as I understand the issue. But this country was founded on a belief in a supreme Creator, commonly referred to as GOD (the Everlasting Father in Heaven), Yahweh and Jehovah. I can be sure there are many more names for the Exalted One, then way would the Mayor of New York forbid all clergy from publicly praying at “Ground Zero”?

Exert from an Email from American Family Association:

“But New York mayor Michael Bloomberg has banned all clergy and all prayer from the upcoming 9/11 memorial service planned to commemorate the tragic events of that day. “

Lets not fall to the wayside, pray fervently for our country, its leaders and the people that all may seek the wisdom and giudance of the Lord God and Father in Heaven before making the decisions that effect so many people in this proud county of ours. GOD BLESS AMERICA and everyone loves Him who is the author of all life.

Today’s cause to pause: The Japan Disaster.
Saturday 2 April 2011 @ 4:53 pm

In the wake of the natural disasters and hardships which have hit the island nation of Japan, please take a private moment to pray for the family’s affected by the crisis. When you have completed that, continue to pray for the other nations whom continue to struggle in their own recoveries.

Todays cause for pause is: CANCER.
Monday 28 March 2011 @ 6:10 pm

Not the astrological sign, but rather the deadly malformation of human cells. Though it would appear the is little we can do to prevent its development, there are many groups working towards a cure for many, but they all need our help. Donations, charity walks and even prayers will go a long way towards finding a cure.

A recent move has left me working out some errors, but we will be back up as quickly as I can resolve the issues. Keep tuned.

Greetings and Thanks from Mr. Henry Q. Snowball Esq.

It is with great joy, I am here to take a brief moment to thank you for your love and generosity. When I was found, I was a starving Ferrell cat just days away from passing on to the great field above. But you had compassion for me and with the actions of a few kind people, I’m on the road to recovery. I didn’t care much for the doctors visit; but I feel better; I can even eat dry food now. I enjoyed the bachelor pad, no one to fight with for food and water. I miss the litter box, sure better than “roughing it”. Even the medicine wasn’t too bad. Unfortunately check out time came much too soon. Would you believe me if I said I am still sick (cough, cough, wink), didn’t think you would. All good things must come to an end; “Arrivederci mio amico, Goodbye my friend”. Oh, who am I kidding, I live under the house. I know when I have it good. I have plenty of wet/dry food, water, I even get pulled chicken and the wayward mouse. I’m camera shy, but I will send a picture as soon as I can. I thank you from the top of my ears to the tip of my tail for all the love you have given to me and all my extended family.

With Love,

Henry Q. Snowball Esq.
